Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Queensland Country Bank Stadium is Townsville’s 25,000-capacity stadium which officially opened in February 2020.
The North Queensland Stadium, now known as Queensland Country Bank Stadium, is a centrally located, best-practice, multi-purpose regional stadium in Townsville. The stadium is home to the famous North Queensland Cowboys NRL Team.
The stadium was a joint project of the Queensland Government, Australian Government and Townsville City Council and was supported by the National Rugby League (NRL) and North Queensland Cowboys. The stadium formed part of the Townsville City Deal that was signed in December 2016.
Queensland Country Bank Stadium is owned and operated by Stadiums Queensland.
