Overview of Housing and Homelessness Services
We play an important role in providing direct and indirect housing assistance, and in influencing the overall housing system within Queensland to improve people's lives through housing.

Our Legislation
The Housing Act 2003, which commenced on 1 January 2004, provides a modern legislative basis for the delivery of housing and housing related services by the State Goverment and funded organisations in Queensland.

Kelvin Grove Urban Village
The Kelvin Grove Urban Village is a joint initiative by the Queensland Government and the Queensland University of Technology to create a dynamic mixed-use development on 16 hectares of land at Kelvin Grove, just two kilometres from Brisbane's Central Business District.
