Starting your tenancy
When starting a tenancy, you will need to give the department some information about yourself and understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant and sign some forms.

The amout of rent you pay for public housing is calculated according to your household’s income. There are several different methods of payment.

During your tenancy
During your tenancy, you can apply to keep pets, conduct a business from your home, or swap homes with another public housing tenant.
Ending your tenancy
Before leaving public housing, make sure you have notified all the necessary people.
