New tenancy laws statewide information sessions
The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 will commence on 1 July 2009, replacing existing tenancy laws for renting in Queensland. While many aspects of the previous legislation remain the same, there are some important changes for community housing providers to be aware of.
Free public information sessions will be conducted by the Residential Tenancies Authority, so providers can access information about the changes to these tenancy laws.
You can register for information sessions to be held in various locations around the State. Bookings are essential.
All information provided at the seminars will also be available on the Residential Tenancies Authority website by 1 July 2009.
