Community Housing Planning Group representatives
Representatives of the Community Housing Planning Group include:
- Chair - General Manager, Community and Public Housing, Department of Housing;
- delegates from each Regional Community Housing Council;
- representatives from the two funded peak bodies: Queensland Shelter and Tenants Union;
- state-wide organisations, such as Tenant Advice and Advocacy Service (Queensland) and Home Assist Secure; and
- representatives from the department’s Community and Public Housing management team.
As the one social housing system is being implemented, the role and representation of the sector in the Community Housing Planning Group is being reviewed.
The Community Housing Planning Group is supported by a secretariat from the Department of Housing, and out-of-pocket expenses (travel and accommodation costs) are met by the Department of Housing.
