Graduate Development Program

The Department of Housing’s Graduate Development Program has been designed to attract recent university graduates who are interested in further developing their careers within the department.

The program offers graduates a 24-month structured program of work placement and personal development, including on-the-job coaching, training, work rotations, mentoring and leadership development.

2009 Graduate Development Program

Applications for the 2009 Graduate Development Program will open on 26 September 2008 for a commencement in February 2009.  Positions will be advertised in Smart jobs and careers, Seek, MyCareer, The Courier Mail, Torres News and Koori Mail, and through universities.

2009 Graduate Development Program Mid-Year Intake

Subject to operational requirements, applications for a mid-year intake of the 2009 Graduate Development Program will open in June 2009, with successful applicants commencing their placement in August 2009.
