What are 'personal affairs' documents?

'Personal affairs' documents include information on any matter of personal or private concern to a person's life such as family and marital relationships, health or ill-health, relationships with and emotional ties with other persons, domestic responsibilities or family obligations, or personal income. When you want to access documents containing information about your personal affairs, you may be required to show proof of identity.
