Community Renewal
The Community Renewal program was established in December 1998 to improve the quality of life of selected Queensland communities.
Delivered through the Department of Housing, the program partners with residents, businesses, and community and government agencies to deliver new solutions to local issues.
Parks, community centres, education programs and family services are among the many projects Community Renewal has delivered with its partners.
Community Renewal operates in 19 communities and surrounding suburbs, from Cairns to the Gold Coast:
- Acacia Ridge;
- Beenleigh;
- Caboolture South;
- Caboolture East;
- Carole Park;
- Deception Bay;
- Eagleby;
- Inala;
- Kingston;
- Labrador;
- Loganlea;
- Manoora;
- Marsden/Crestmead;
- Mooroobool;
- Palm Island;
- Rasmussen;
- Varsity Lakes;
- Vincent; and
- Woodridge.
